Willow Vale & Co. was created from a love of creativity, healing, and finding beauty in the small things.

I’ve always been drawn to crafts and DIY. As a beautician, I’ve spent most of my life working for myself, creating and helping others feel good. But turning 40 brought a shift—I found myself searching for something more—something that truly felt like me.

For a few years, I struggled with my mental health. During that time, I slowly began finding my way back through creativity—reconnecting with home décor, renovations, and working with my hands.

I started with jesmonite, creating handmade vessels, trays, and decorative pieces. It gave me a sense of calm, focus, and purpose again.

Candles came later, when I realised I could combine them with my jesmonite pieces—bringing together something that felt both beautiful and functional.

As I went deeper into the process, I discovered there was much more behind candles than I first realised. I began learning about what goes into them, what we bring into our homes, and how scent can quietly influence how we feel—our mood, our energy, even our sense of calm.

That’s when everything became more intentional. I started investing time into learning, refining, and creating with more care and awareness.

Now, at 46, I’m building something that reflects that journey.

Willow vale isn’t about perfection—it’s about embracing imperfections, because that’s where the beauty really is. Every piece is handmade, and no two are ever exactly the same.
